I have known Dr. Potdar before he became a dentist and he has known me since before I had teeth. I am now old enough to be married and have my own kids with teeth. Over the last thirty odd years, I have never once felt the need to visit another dentist, even for the 15 odd years when I lived away from India. From advising me on dental hygiene from an early age, to putting in a cap, to whitening my smile, I have been a frequent visitor to Dr. Potdar's dental chair. In my mind, his vast experience, his sheer technical wizardry, his desire to be at the cutting edge of the dentistry field, his genuine concern for patients' well-being, and his friendly communication style differentiates him from other dentists of his generation. Despite his busy schedule, he calls up on patients to see how they are doing; he even picks up patients from their homes and drives them to his clinic – that to me reflects his genuine passion for his profession. Beyond dental issues, we have often bonded over spirited conversations about cricket, music and politics – he is well read and opinionated, this makes sitting in the dental chair a mildly fun experience. A super dentist and a great human being!

Dear Mangesh,
We have known each other for over 30 years as friends vs. patient and doctor. I thank you for my current healthy dental condition. I can enjoy eating anything - hard, warm or cold to satisfy myself which is a tribute to your long treatment. I say this because as a child my mother took me to a trust managed clinic in Girgaum for treatment and at times for extraction to a public hospital nearby. She did it to relieve me of my pain but overall trauma still stayed with me for many years thereafter. When I started my treatment with you in early 1980s as a young adult (I am making good efforts to hide my age) I was very impressed with your skill level and confidence as regards suggested treatment. The fact that my root canal stayed protected over 30 years till you suggested even a better treatment stands as a testimony. I know over the years innovation within oral care has made dental treatment a factor of time and money over just a pain. It has been a pleasure to refer my extended family and friends over the past three decades (without any referral fees) demonstrates my support to you and care for my close near and dear ones. Please stay tuned to all new innovations within your field and as friendly as you have been over the past three decades with your extended family within your clinic. There was a time it was only you and the patient, and now it is a well supported team of professionals. We still have a long way to go together, as I said more as friend than as doctor and patient.

Dentistry is a branch of Modern Medicine. In fact the Dental Procedures of the last 10 years, are super-advanced for their Technic & for their much needed High-skill Experience ! Dr Mangesh truly excels with such "otherwise" apprehended procedures, as is delightfully experienced by all in our family.

It must also be emphasized that Dr Mangesh is a Great Dentist even when the patient is away from his Clinic. His special skills are more than his "Healing & Gentle Hand" ! He's so reassuring to the patients that half of the Pain disappears even before the medication!

At times, some may find his Treatment-Cost, a bit differentiated.

If I can enjoy my food today, it is only thanks to Dr. Mangesh Potdar, and his dedicated, competent and courteous team! At 64, I only had the front 10 teeth in reasonable condition. Rest were badly broken. I was toying about having dentures.

Dr. Potdar patiently explained the benefits of going for implants, the procedure and the time frame. The costing also was reasonable. I agreed. With timely execution, I got a full set of teeth, good to eat all regular food.
